Subject: Hit ABC TV Show Looking for Ranching & Farming Families

Belinda:

I obtained your information from the CattleToday.com website and Beverly from your company suggested that I contact you. My name is Jennifer Weeks and I'm a Casting Producer for the ABC TV show Wife Swap. In case you are not familiar with the show, each episode of Wife Swap involves two families who swap one parent from each household (we could swap the Mom or Dad) for ten days to experience how other families in different parts of the countries run their lives. We are extremely interested in highlighting a farming/ranching family on an upcoming episode of our show, and I'm hoping you may have suggestions as to families who could be great for our show, or that you would be willing to send this information to members of your community who might be interested.

I've attached a flier which you can feel free to pass along to anyone you think may be interested in being considered. I'd be happy to answer any additional questions you or any interested families may have. This could be a great experience and opportunity for a ranching family to show their work ethic and their lifestyle! We are looking to find and cast this family ASAP, so any interested parties should contact me soon. Please send me a quick e-mail confirming you received this information. Thanks again for your time.

Best,

Jen Weeks

I have watched this show and it is a hoot! They usually swap a prissy rich lady with someone that is totally and completely opposite in every aspect of their lives.

There is no way I'd swap mine out, not even for a few minutes. That show must be like fear factor. People will just do some ridiculous stunts for a buck. My luck they'd probably give me some kitty kat from Manhattan. Then again maybe I could charm her into "cowboying up."

I've seen a couple of episodes.....and you guys are both correct! They swap 2 completely different lifestyles on this show. I saw one where they swapped a veggie mom and a mom who cooks beef every day, and the other was a mom / wife of a hunting guide family and they swapped her with a PETA activist. So you can pretty much be guaranted you would get a animal lover who would spend most of the time preachinfg to ya about how you are hurting the cows and stuf like that! :D

I'ld love to see a peta type get up at 3 am to milk a bunch of cows. I'ld almost be willing to watch a stupid tv show like.

I heard they have done one episode where one family owned a dairy. Didn't see it myself (we only have two TV channels and they're both fuzzy - no use even trying to watch) but from what I was told, it sounded quite amusing. :)

Shucks, and I missed it. Ah well, I hope my life will still be fulfilled without it.
