Ok wife has left me for 5 days to go off to Las Vegas with out me. :( She is on a collegiate Team for Respiratory Therapist that are competing at a National Competition. (Yea I know how did I land a smart one  )

Now I am alone, and having to do all her chores. Any suggestions on how to do this Stuff that she usually does below will be appreciated.

Get kid ready for school

Wash the Clothes

Cook 2 meals a day

Vacuum

Dust

Make the beds

Clean the house

Check heifer about to calve

Morning feeding of cattle

Take kids to Basketball Practice

Work 45 hour full time Job

Work 8 hours part-time for our Business on weekends

Go Check on Grandma in Nursing Home

Help Kids with Homework

Bring me a glass of Tea after hard night of posting on a couple message boards

Killing of the snake we found in the Cellar

Feed the Mules

Light the Pilot light on furnace if it goes out (Sadly to say I can never get it lit  )

Cut my hair

Call our accounts and set up work schedule

Do all billing at end of month

Keep Tax Records.

{b]You now that I think about it I think she deserves 5 days away from here by herself! She might even be deserving an assistant to  [/b]

Get kid ready for school
have kid do it theirself and then wait for letter from teacher asking if wife is out of town
Wash the Clothes
put whites and reds together use hot water-next time wife will say she'll do them when she gets back
Cook 2 meals a day
learn to like frozen pizza
Vacuum
skip entirely
Dust
see above
Make the beds
only on the day she is due back
Clean the house
see vacuum and dust
Check heifer about to calve
better do that
Morning feeding of cattle
yep
Take kids to Basketball Practice
ask another parent to do it say wife will take theirs next week
Work 45 hour full time Job
take vacation days
Work 8 hours part-time for our Business on weekends
save that for wife
Go Check on Grandma in Nursing Home
call Grandma instead
Help Kids with Homework
skip-my kids get bad grades when I "help them"
Bring me a glass of Tea after hard night of posting on a couple message boards
hollar at kid to bring you one
Killing of the snake we found in the Cellar
don't go down there
Feed the Mules
got to feed the mules
Light the Pilot light on furnace if it goes out (Sadly to say I can never get it lit  )
buy electric heater
Cut my hair
be a hippie
Call our accounts and set up work schedule
boring-skip
Do all billing at end of month
save for wife to do
Keep Tax Records.

Janitor,

Heard you boil a mean pot of water...Least with your cleanin' skills, should be nice and spotless!

Unless you're like the pluber's plumbing.

I been trying to get my machines in the house but they will not fit. Plus I do not like to bring my work home with me

So is the problem that you are needing to find something to do for the time between the hr after you drop kid off at school and do the chores until you have to take him to ball practice?

Maybe start up a friendly neighborhood poker game with the other housewives?

Gateopener----now, now!!! Don't be giving these men any ideas....least of all MINE!!!!!!! He already is totally oblivious that the vacuum and the washer/dryer and the dishwasher are NOT "women tools"!!!

It's no big deal when my wife's gone. It only takes me an hour or two to do her chores, then I watch sports on TV or get on these boards the rest of the time. I can't believe how easy she has it. Do all you ladies have it that easy? :P

Can we assume from this post that your wife never reads these boards?

Wife won't ever go away again

If you use this plan I suggest you send two dozen roses to her hotel room and make sure your insurance is paid up.Z

BTW: You might want to hide the Iron skillet :help:

Your assumption is correct. Let's keep it that way. ;-)

aplus - Suck it up and get it done! As in the wise words  of my hubby - the more that I have to do, the more I get done! :D

aplus - I wish my wife would have went with yours to Vegas. I came home from the market yesterday to find our basement door doesn't have a window anymore. Dipstick locked herself out again and has apparantly lost the hidden key (won't own up to it). After pulling her coveralls down over her fist and trying to punch the window out she found my fencing hammer and knocked it out. I'll have to admit it, her hand looks pretty cool. I've been thinking of giving myself a black eye and calling the sheriff's department.
