50 yards 72 dogs 7 races 1 champion WIENER DOG WARS today at Canterbury Park

Headed out to the track today for the most exciting 8 seconds in all of racing!
I expect it will put the Kentucky Derby and Indy 500 to shame. :)

I'd buy tickets to those races.
 
I'm not skilled enough to post pictures or video.
But great fun to watch.... there's nothing funnier than midgets running track.

Unfortunately a storm blew in late in the day and the championship final race was postponed to the 16th the final day
of our horse racing season. I was disappointed, but it must really suck for the wiener dog from Oklahoma that won his
way into the finals.

They ran the wiener dog races in the down time between the horse races. The horses finished the last 2 races of the
day in the rain and mud. I suppose they were afraid the little guys would get stuck in the track. :)
