That's pretty much the way we do it here. I'm still tryin' to impress on the wife just how good she has it. She is a good gateopener, but she doesn't always go with me - she doesn't think a trip to the fields falls under the definition of joyridin' and cruisin' - except at calving time. We finally convinced our kids to just take care of their kids and all we wanted was to be together. My speech to them: "No sense spendin' money you don't have, to buy people you don't like, things that they don't want or need." :santa:

ive been done for a good while.i just give every1 except the great nephew money.the great nephew gets lots of toys.

Bought mine 4 tires for her Durango and a new Angus bull but she did not go for it. Guess I will be back out tomorrow.

Did she have that bull on her wish list? I bought mine a Labrador retriever 2 yrs ago in Nov. She's just starting to like her now.

With a lab, those first two years can be challenging.

I agree but she has turned into the best dog I have ever owned and by far the best pheasant dog. She's such a sweetheart my hunting buddies nicknamed her "Tenders"
