JR just got home from work and walked in to see both of Bertha's teeth shining in her mouth as she grinned from ear to ear. JR asked, "what are ya so happy about sweetcheeks?" and Bertha replied, "Lil JR Jr. just said half a word today!" JR said, "really! What did my boy say?" Bertha replied, "mother".

Yes, Crowder. Down the road from me. We got quite a collection down here. There's a woman lives back of my donkey pasture in a trailer who believes that her best form of communication is to stand on her back porch and yell as loud as she can. At her kids, the dog, the animals, passing cars, her husband... I can't understand her, but she's yelling, for sure. I can't imagine how that sounds to her immediate neighbors.

got some people like that here.like lammie said you can hear emm yelling for a mile.

What is that all about, anyway? I guess I shouldn't be making single wide comments, as my husband makes a living building them, but what is up with the yelling?

I came up with a promotional deal for selling single wides. You buy the trailer and you get 8 old tires to put on the roof, and a Trans-mero on blocks to park out back.

Coulnd't get Steve to go along with it.

I need to shut up. I may end up living in one.

That comment about the grass growing makes me wonder. Why is it they can grow grass that thick and that fast with no chemicals or seeds and the rest of us spend tons of money trying to get the pasture to grow? What's the secret?

Bull...it's all them young'uns running around the yard fertilizing everything. Add a little spilt beer, a bit of upset stomach from too much beer, a full bladder and you got the makings of a lush front yard. Just don't get none of it on the Lincoln Towncar. Just spent $70 gettin' that rascal detailed for Saturday night down at the Choke and Puke Grill.

Lincolns are nice, but around here it is either an 88 Cavalier or an old Camero. There is a website devoted to this called trailertrash.com. We acutally have a scrapbook of pics we take when we see an interesting mobile home configuration.

It's the septic tank overflow.. me and a buddy went to get my hay tedder the other day at a neighbor's and noticed some water running down the road from a trailer like a broken water line. we had to stop in the road and make a adjustment on the tedder and realised we were standing in sewage . :( bet it makes a great slip and slide for them kids though ;-)

Last spring I had a steer get loose into the backyard of one of my trailer neighbors and sure enough when I stepped back there to get him I was standing in sewage.

Now they have one of those aerobic systems, only they don't have enough backyard to absorb all the water. I don't get it. Why anyone would spend money on a septic that is worth more than the house.

Steve tells me that it is because septic ready lots are worth a lot more and I can see that. But to have the poo water sprinklers right at the back door. Well, I hope the kids have fun playing. :secret:
