And the personal attacks begin!
Just like the last time I brought this subject up.
For you people who have a personal and/or political agenda let me make this perfectly clear.
I WILL NOT RESPOND TO PERSONAL ATTACKS, as I did the last time I tried to discuss this with you.
. So have at it.
And that is not the medication speaking, it’s the real me. Like it or lump it.
I am short and to the point. So if my opinion bothers you, don’t read my posts.
It’s that simple.

Re:
aside from the fact that he's obviously scouring?
I would not call that scouring. I would call it a mild case of diarrhea.
If he were scouring, it would be more of a silver color, not yellow.
The fact that he has it all over his butt and tail is because he only gets up to eat.
His abdomen also does a lot of growling for about ½ hr after he takes his milk.
Re:
Would you call this white eye?

Not sure! Could be.
As I can not see the eye balls close up and from this angle. What I may be seeing is camera flash or sun or cloud glare/reflections.
What leads me to believe it may be infected is his body condition and the condition of the pasture and cows in the back ground.
My observation:
The calf looks under weight and has a poor coat compared to the cows in the back ground.. He should be well fed (momma milk ) plus good pasture.
The cows in the back ground, on a scale of 1 - 10, look to be only a 6, on pasture that should have them at least at 8.
Is this calf an orphan? Do you have any better pics?
( interesting ear tag )??
Re:
how many fresh new individual cattle do you see in a year that you can number the spinal injuries and 'white eye' conditions observed over 100 in a few years.
That number is probably in the thousands.
Besides the local herds I am associated with yearly, and as a fairly regular attendee of both my local action houses, it has to be over a 1,000 per year.
If it is my credentials that enables me to speak on the subject you are after:
I have none, except 66 years of “on the job training“, the ability to read and converse ( in English), logic and reasoning abilities and a highly honed investigative abilities.
As for the cure for white-eye, I will post it on a separate thread and you can have at it.
