Wheres the beef?

This is the first time I saw ground beef sold in 10lb rolls

Yup, it's sold here also, you should give it a try! You may acquire a taste for old,near death,downer cow burger! Only the finest beef goes into a processed tube like that.

Seen tubes like that at stores around here for years. I bought it one time only made that mistake once.

I bought some that was 80-20 it cooked down to like 60-40, dogs got to eat good that night.

If you buy any ground beef at a grocery store it comes in a Tube just like that. The meat cutter opens it puts it in the grinder and grinds it one time and catches it in a tray and wraps it in clear wrap and it goes in the case.

While that works for you it does not pencil out for me to feed one out and I have a place to process my own. We eat a lot of deer burger. I also know how to get quality ground beef from the grocery store.

my butcher comes to the house to kill..cut wrap 50 per lb and we dont finsih..we eat grass finished....offa good late spring pastures

oh yeah it hangs for 18-21 days..he qtrs em at the farm then hauls em off to his shop to cut /wrap
