where to start

i have a bull that some of you may have seen on the beginners board area, and if you've seen him, im still looking up on his parentage and papers and all.....anyways. i was wanting to know how to start showing him. ive wanted to show but i havent had the resources to start. any suggestions help
 
Well I look at him on your other thread. First you gatta figure out what he is. Then you gatta figure out if he can be registered. I sure cant tell what he is. Lets find out what he is first, then we need to talk about wether its worth you putting the expense into showing or having him shown. Showing more a hobby than anything these days. And it does put a wrinkle in the pocket book. I will not send a calf to a show anymore unless its got a real good chance of winning.

As stated: he needs to be registered and must be the right age. It may be difficult to break an animal of his size and will take some work. Good Luck!

Anyways, showing is a lot of fun and a real learning experience, so even if you can't show him, by all means show s/t else.
