Where can I get black angus calves in Indiana?

Hello,

Last year our vet had some black angus calves and we raised a couple of them to butcher...we'd like to do the same thing this year but our vet doesn't have any for sale this year. What would be the best way to go about finding a couple of black angus calves to raise...they have to be off the bottle...but not too big.

If your vet works on cattle he/she may know of someone that has some for sale

You could go to a aution sale pick up a couple. Or if your driving around sometime and see a herd of Black Angus why not stop and ask. If you happen to be in NC MN stop by I have a few.

Probably just about any auction sale will have black angus, angus cross calves. As for bottle calves- you'll probably have to look, but Im pretty sure you'll find some.
