When to sell...

Hi!
I just bought my first bottle calf in July, and he's 2 months old now!
I'm just getting into the cattle business and I was wondering how old I should let him get before I decide to sell him.
Orrr, should I base him on weight rather, because he was a twin and will grow slower!
I would appreciate the help!

What breed of a calf is he, Holstein,jersey?

I would sell based on weight not age, keep an eye on your local stockyard market reports and sell when you can get the most money.

If you will just be selling the one, sell him between 500 and 600lbs. Since he was a bottle calf that will probably be 8 to 10 months.
