When should I let them out on Triticale?

I Planted 20 acres of Triticale September 18th, I Irrigated 4 times. It's only around 6 inches tall. My last watering was 5 days ago. How much more growth do I need to let the cows out ? Thanks. First time grazing Triticale, I disked the old alfalfa and some alfalfa didn't die. As you can see on the pic.

Are you planning on limit grazing or leaving them on the tritacale full time?

I was planning on putting them away when it gets low, and when it rain/snows. I will still leave big bales out for them.
