What do you all think of this?
I have a 4 month old Angus bull calf that makes a wheezing sound when he breathes most of the time. He doesn't have any nasal discharge or any other symptoms of being sick. He's done this for about a month. He seems happy & otherwise healthy, eats well from pasture, mom & creep. When I watch him breathe he doesn't seem to be labored or have any trouble, it just sounds bad. When we worked them 2 weeks ago I gave him some LA, but didn't notice any difference. Any thoughts?

We had one doing the same thing a week or so ago. May have been allegies, since it's so dry here, but not wanting to take a chance, gave him 3cc's of Baytril, problem gone next day.

Ran him in today & has a temp of 102.8. Gave him 20cc of LA. Will keep doing that & see what happens.

I'd go with Crowder's advice, Baytril wil probably handle it. If it doesn't I'd try Nuflor. If it just popped up suddenly it may well be an allergy of some kind.

I would say alergies. As dry as it is now and as low to the ground as he is. He probly gets a dirt sandwich everyday. I had a few do this and one got sick. Vet said dust pneumonia. Shot of NuFLor helped.
