Wheel gun purchase

I picked up a stainless Ruger SP101 in .327 Federal Magnum today from a guy who was kinda hard up for cash. Used very little. It came with 50 rounds of ammo and 200 pcs of brass. I got the gun, ammo, brass and a 50.00 Cabelas gift card for $350.00. I shot it this afternoon and found it to be very accurate and the recoil tolerable with the full power magnum loads. I have not been a big Ruger fan over the years with the exception of the Blackhawk and Redhawk revolvers. I'm kinda impressed with this little jewel however. I may load it down with some .32 Longs for the wife to carry. It's small grip fits her pretty well. Anybody have any experience with the .327 Fed Mag? I reload so ammo is not a huge concern for me. Any reccomended powders?

Never loaded the 327 federal but I've loaded a tone of 32 H&R mag, 32 longs and 32 shorts. My preference with 100 gr SWC is Herco

dun, I have been using Ramshot True Blue for some of my handgun reloading. It seems to be a pretty consistant powder. Have you ever used it? It is a pretty decent universal poweder.

Haven't messed with the 327 but have the H&R 32 mag pretty well stick with HP 38 or Unique powders.

dun, I have been using Ramshot True Blue for some of my handgun reloading. It seems to be a pretty consistant powder. Have you ever used it? It is a pretty decent universal poweder.

I haven;t bought powder in 15 years.
