These are not jokes. I don't know if anyone has figured out this behavior. I was an employee of a Federal agency where it occurred and on my sworn oath to tell the truth, I have seen it with my very own eyes.

The one instance where I saw it, I opened a men's bathroom walked in quickly and pulled to a holt like most people would if there was an 8 foot diamondback rattlesnake laying on the floor. Instead, and for me I would prefer the rattlesnake, there was a large pile of human feces on the floor directly in front of me.

I don't know if anyone can explain this behavior. The work staff was white collar workers and access to the bathrooms was limited so unlikely someone not employed there. What is the message and why this behavior? It is bizarre to say the least.

Where are the hall cameras of people going in and out? As a school principal, I solved many (100,s) of offences with cameras. It was hard
for a junior high student to deny what was on camera. When we got cameras, it made my job much easier.

In the situation I described there were no cameras. I am wondering if cameras are exempted from bathrooms for privacy reasons. If this is occurring in halls, that is a good point.

Don: If you are more recently familar with this behavior, do you have any reason for it? Is it because that are protesting a circumstance, angry at the institution, or dysfunctional behavior?

It is odd behavior, but maybe we have now found a government employee who actually gives a shyt.

No worries. The way our government works if they can weed out the ones that give a shyt they'll be fired. If they suspect that they give a shyt but can't prove it they'll just make their life shyt until they either quit or quit giving a shyt.

We didn't have cameras in the restrooms due to laws. I would know what time the offence was reported and go back and check the times that
students entered the restroom and narrow it down. It was usually simple from there. I usually didn't have vandalism during breaks due to duty
teachers and the number of witnesses in the restrooms. During class, students with hall pass, or after school hours, tutorial, is when most
vandalism occurred. I was then dealing with fewer numbers of students. I once had a younger student from another campus put feces all over
the stall and commode after school. I told his mother what I had seen on camera, but I was not accusing her son. She was an employee of the
school, but I don't think that that mattered. She said that he would not be back on campus after hours, and she was very nice.

Are the bears shytting in the woods too??

I think whoever does anything like that ought to be 'house trained' like a puppy... rub their face in it, then kick them out... guaranteed effective with few repeat offenders!
