What kinda hp does it take to run a 3x3 or 3x4 baler?

id say a min of 150hp to run it easy.

I would say your right 150 hp , They are big balers and your going to want that size frame of tractor to handle it.

I was told 110hp PTO on a 3x3 sq.

I've never seen less than a 100 hp tractor on any large square baler around here and usually they are 150 hp+ A lot of Fast-traks and Fendts around here.
