whats a good weight??

what is a good target weight to breed a heifer at with a 2000 lb. bull? i was figuring about 950-1000 lbs. what to yall think??

I go more by age... not weight.

usually look to breed at 15 mos of age to target calving as a 2yr old. at 15 mos of age they should weigh around 65% of their mature weight.
2000lb bull is a little heavy for heifers, but they may be able to stand it.

I agree with you, i would find a little lighter bull.
