I bought this one in march what do yall think about her? do you think $600 was too much?

With market prices as high as they are right now, $600 seems just within the scope of reason. For my own part, I'd only have offered $400 to $500 for her, and then only if I knew something about her mama. Boy, she has some small bones in her body!
 
SHe is 18 months old?? Do you know anything about her sire and dam's breeds? She looks bred to me. Do you know if that is the case and how far along she is?
 
$600 seems a little high to me. how much did she weigh 7 months ago when you bought her? shes not all that in my opinion but shes ok i guess. she could be A LOT worse.

New comers try to save a few $$$ by buying their own cattle and end up spending a lot more than he would have saved, by buying the animal or animals themselves. Pregnnt hfrs that you have to call a vet on can cost a lot of money. A $10.00
order buying fee to an experienced and knowledgeable order buyer can save big bucks over a period of a day.
 
Very fine boned, and high hipped. If you're going to keep her and breed her, I would suggest using a meaty bull. Easy calving for the first one of course.

A good Angus bull (preferably red) would work well on almost anything, but so would a good, emphasis on good, bull of almost any breed.

Kind of late to second guess your deal...if you are happy with her then you got what you paid for...I'd try a calf out of her (low birth weight bull, red angus is our current bull of choice) and see if she passes along those fine bones...how old was she when you bought her....DMC
 
okay, not trying to get yall hair up, But I would not own this animal, very small fine bone critter take her to the sale barn or your plate. sorry.

now other option: put a lbw bull on her, red or black angus also maybe a Longhorn bull. and if she drops a good small calf that puts on weight good. if if not eat her or sale her, not a good way to start a herd.

also view the other to heifers that you own both are good looking animals. so good job on them.

The first and second cows look very good, nice lines and size. the third one is lite in the rear, I like good size cows. but it does look like you are off to a good start.

the third Cow, you said she drop a nice bull calf for you? to me that is what count, and if you can work with her. and around her.
 
i have no thoughts of selling her. she's very gentle and as i said earlier, she had a really good looking bull calf (bad luck with him tho)
 
She sounds like a keeper, do you have her bred back yet, and sorry on the bad luck with the bull calf.
 
yes she is bred back to a black brangus. do you think this is a good match
