What to Eat for Supper?

The head cook and bottle washer is out of town for a few days. I suspect it will be potted meat cause when I left the house this morning she had a 30 gallon garbage bag with the refrigerator door open filling it up. apparently it quit working sometime yesterday. I bought a part for it today so if I get it running tonight its still gonna be empty.

I dont know about you but bbq shrimp on the grill with grilled corn and grilled squash sound delightful to me. Potted meat I do love and would be just as happy with that and some saltines and orange soda.

We went to the meat shop yesterday and bought a 12 #corned beef, 16# boneless ham and 20# of ground beef. Just finished slicing it and packaging it all so I think we're having pizza. Or wings. Not sure if we're going out or staying in. May end up skinny dipping with the wife since deadeye will be off at the police explorers things he's been doing.

Jo we arnt far enough apart for the weather to be any different. once I work on the fridge I have some other work to do outside and Its HOT !!!

Just grilled the burgers and didn't even need to light the grill. Dang it's hot outside. And I've got to be on a tile roof for half the day tomorrow

When it gets this hot I just seem to lose my appetite. Something like a tomato sandwich would be good too. Its miserably hot here. Calling for 102 tomorrow and Saturday. Would be a good day to stretch some barbed wire.

As a matter of fact I have been waiting for a real hot day to repair some barb wire I had to cut when the water was high. It is on my to do list Saturday.
Fridge is fixed and its a bacon sandwich tonight.
