What is your opinion on this Brangus bull?

I am a newbie with EPD's. He looks good and has a decent disposition.

What are your thoughts?

I like Brangus . Papers don't mean a lot too me.
I want to see the bull in his work clothes not head in a bucket.
Secondly I want to his progeny or his sires progeny if he is a virgin bull.
I don't want pallet head calves.

Same here. Also, I don't want a Brangus that looks like an Angus, the way so many seem to in recent years. If I want a bull that looks like an Angus I'll buy an Angus.

Would like to see a picture also. Nothing too impressive on pedigree. As far as EPD's, I personally would like higher WW and YW.

I was mostly interested in the EPD's as I am learning.

WW around 50, YW around 100 is what I would typically like to see. Unless your looking for a heifer bull then it's all CED and BW.

We bought this Brangus bull and an Ultrablack last month. Seems it's getting hard to find a Brangus bull that looks like a Brangus.

They both look pretty good to me. The Ultrablack is 3/4ths Brangus, and 1/4th Angus...a good cross. Nice looking pair of 2 yr old bulls. What kind of cows are you using them on?

Angus X and Brangus X cows. We've got 2 Brangus and 2 Ultrablack bulls on them. We primarily used Hereford bulls until last year.
