after we cut hay a few months ago all of these little plants/weeds came up.....y'all know what it is? thanks

Everyone around here calls them "coffee-beans". Like Jo said, the cows won't eat them unless they're starving. I don't think that you'll ever get rid of them, just make sure you spray or now them every year before they go to seed.

You can find them in the zillions around here.
