Just interviewed a person who was my boss over 30 years ago.

Either he does not remember me or else he hopes I do not remember him.

He was the best candidate so I recommended him.

Just amazing me that this happened. If you would have asked me 30 plus years ago well.....

I saw someone (That has caused me a lot of grief) picking up trash at the county fair last week in an orange jumpsuit. I pulled his record. It seems at about age 40 he unraveled: forging checks, forging prescriptions, not paying child support, lots of domestic violence stuff. I didn't have the reaction that I thought I would. I felt about as sorry for him as anyone I have ever known. We once competed for the same things. Now our worlds are far apart. I couldn't help but wonder what strange twist of events could take us down such different paths. I wished I had back the wasted moments of my youth. The time I had spent trying to beat him.
