We just purchased this guy. He is one of the best Red Angus bulls I have ever seen and his dam is even better.

He is a Dakota Copper son. Weaning weight is 778lbs and Yearling weight is 1477lbs

We only bought the bull. He kept the cow. I got them at OHR Red Angus in ND at his sale this past Thursday.

He will only be on registered cows, and we will be selling bulls and females out of him in a couple years. I had some partnes on the bull too, so it wasn't all my $.

Now that's what I call a top cow - and bull. You "done good" - too bad he was so pricey - but if he reproduces himself, you should do well.
That's always the IFFY part - the proof is in the pudding - as they say. When you have a great cow backing him, and a great sire, should work out well.

At my place if I spent that on a bull he'd be sleeping in the house and I'd be sleeping in the barn :lol:
