This is the biggest chew toy we could find for a dog of his breed!!! He is an Italian Mastiff.

He is not much of a farm dog though. He eats, sleeps, and plays with his tire, but he sure is a loving dog. You just can'nt sit on the ground with him when he is lying down. He will role into your lap to get his tummy rubbed. And let me tell you, if you don't scratch his tummy good enough, you're going to have to have someone get his lazy butt off of you. He's such a baby!!

He really is a good dog. You wouldn't know it from looking at him but he is just a big baby. The problam is his size because you just can'nt play with him much. He can knock you down easy and not mean to at all. His bread is one of the top ten family dogs though.

ditto! Same goes for that collar.

I was wondering, just how long that chew toy will last him?
;-)

Oh don't worry he was only on a chain for a very short time. We built a dog-lot for him and the other two dogs. Where we live you can not let your dogs rome free even if it is on your own property, unless it is helping you with some sort of farm animal. After the chore is done though the dog must be kept on a chain or live in some form of fenced in area. We have a couple of neighbors(which once were city people) move into the neighborhood and have gave poison to some of their previous neighbors pets (cat, dog, whatever). We were just keeping him safe. He is now happy in his large dog lot. He has plenty of room to do whatever he pleases. None the less, he is happy. Ya know though even though the dog-lot is large he normally stays close to the house. Thats what his breed does. They sleep, eat, hardly run, extremely loyal to their human families, and always stay close to their masters home.

i have a fila. brazilian breed very similar to yours awesome female. very loyal and protective. never seen a chain or cage but i see yer dogs happy. good that you look after em that way too!

Nice dog...:D

I also have a large 1/2 American Bulldog 1/2 Pitt that is our house dog. We also give him tires, pants, coke bottle, and all sorts of other stuff. They need to work their jaws to prevent anxiety. It take all of about 2 min to have a 3 liter coke bottle in pieces and the latic chewed into a flat sheet.

I love it! "...work their jaws to prevent anxiety"

So much anxiety...so few people chew toys...

Not knocking PB's. Some are very tame and people/child safe (for your family anyway).

 My lab will bite you before my bulldog.

When you come through my neighborhood look for the 5 ladies walking their bulldogs. My ABD X Pitt, a Bull Mastif, another ABD, a Boxer, and another Pitt. All living in piece and harmony with kids on bikes, cats, lawn mowers, ect... Strange thing though... no strays and no door to door sales people. :)
