Neighbours had a yearling bull come home a few days ago. Looked in fine shape too. Generally when the young ones don’t show up in the fall they never do. So I guess you never know. Hopefully yours turn up yet.

Tracks or places where they might be grazing.

Most of our range area is 4000 feet. The pilots I fly with can get me close enough to read ear tags.

I'm starting to see a lot talk about gps collar on cattle. A rancher in Montana has a youtube channel where he shows how he uses it on the blm land he leases, sets up digital fences and everything. I'm sure it wouldn't be feasible on all of your cows but I wonder if it would be feasible on a select group of animals?

There are some pilot programs for gps tags and also for virtual fence collars in BC. So far the collars are a work in progress but do show potential as I understand it.
