I have come to the conclusion all cattle are democrats. Put out hay for the first time today everbody is full and now laying around waiting on welfare. Be that way till spring green up all of them standing in the welfare line.

I can't believe you'll keep those democratic cows around all winter. You should haul them to the sale barn and buy some that will work all winter. The fact that there's nothing to eat out there shouldn't make any difference.

As my husband says.... I do everything except eat it for them

I have hay in a couple of fields were the pickins are getting slim. It is interesting that once you bring in the first bale they stop grazing, almost totally.
I tell my partner, that cows are like teenagers. If you do it they will let you.

We've had hay out for a couple months. They graze all day and come in to the traps at night to eat the hay. They are back out grazing by morning. Thanks goodness we don't have those welfare type cows

Mine are doing the welfare thing right now. The wheat, rye and clover are coming on strong. Last year at this time we hadn't had any rain and didn't get any for another 3 months. This year has been good.

In another month I will put them on the rye patch and they will have to choice but go Republican then. No one had better be standing within 20 feet of their backsides.

This year I the first time I have planted clover, ever. It sure looks good. I planted a Hubam and even overseeded it over the coastal field on the river flood plain. It is coming on strong. I am pleased with it thus far.

With this rain, I am going to have a little surplus of hay come spring. This will be a first time to have extra hay in two years.

BHB, most R's aren't this honest about the consequences of voting for them.

In a few more days we can all go back to worrying about rain and pasture. Thank goodness.

Our welfare gals have learned that if I'm a bit late in attending to them they gather on the knoll outside our bedroon and can demand groceries in chorus. They pick the darndest times too.

At least there not republican cows or theyd want gold hay rings and silver water troughs.

The Demos want to tax me and buy them for the whole county. "it takes a village to feed the cow"

I put out hay this morning in the sacrifice paddock and turned the girls in. The paddock is about 100X200. So far they haven;t touched the hay. They're eating everythingthey can find that's green, which isn;t much.

Couldn't agree more. If the choice is work or go hungry they'll hunt for food. But if you give handouts they'll quit working and fall apart waiting.

I can handle the laying around as long as they keep quiet and don't demand a lot of money and a new trailer house to live in.
