I've always been one of those people that's usually about 10 years or so behind the latest technology, and some of the stuff coming out nowadays I don't imagine I'll ever have, simply because I don't need it. Anyway, after struggling with dial-up all these years, we're finally hooked up with high speed internet. Came home from work tonight and there it was. Wife took a couple of days off and had it hooked up as a surprise anniversary present. As the young folks say....sweeeeeeet!! :D

Glad to hear it Van, I've got satellite, don't know that it qualifies as "high speed", but better than what I had.

It does tend to make a big difference, doesn't it? Mine isn't stellar, but it sure beats the hell out of 26K on dial-up.

Higher speed made the internet actually useful to me. Wish it was faster.
I had high speed broadband, a few months back I had fiber optic infinity installed that is superfast broadband 40mb. Turn on computer and it is instant, I love it.
