Cal

Great! I am excited that we have had TWO days in a row with no rain!!!! Been a while since that has happened! Glad it finally moved off to you folks!

Congrats !!!! Hope it keeps coming :D

I am not going to complain about our weather, with what everyone else is getting, flooding, tornadoes, blizzards and then droughts with fires. I think we have it pretty darn good here right now, even if you can't walk without your boots getting stuck in the mud. :cowboy:

Glad you folks is getting some water Cal. We are have got a plenty but i ain,t gonna grip about. Would rather wade the mud than dust.

I'm not ready to gripe yet either, however we have had over 20" in the last week and it is pouring down now with more on the way,
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the drought has broke her in SE Missouri

I wish we could get some rain. Its been probably 3 weeks since we got any in the gauge

Been over 3 months here. 40% chance yestiddy and 40% chance today.

I think they keep predicting rain (almost every day) just so people won't give up hope altogether. It doesn't seem to be working, though.

How bout that...went from hot air to cool air...still no rain but it's just the other side of I-35. I will give the forecast a 10% chance of being close to correct. Don't think any of them have the guts to estimate how much it rains if it rains....

Jim, just looked at my rainfall records..........31 WEEK total is 4.4 inches. Thats 2/3rds of a year! Missing about 20 inches.

Came out of church yesterday at 10 and it was 74 degrees and muggy....30 minutes latter it was about 52. Was about 40 this morning. Got nothing yesterday but about .6 this morning. Beats nothing.

I've had over 3 inches down at the farm. Bout time!

Rained at the house quite a bir over the weekend. Nada to speak of where I needed it - until last night and this a.m. Its been good.

Vette I hope you get something out of this weather pattern.

Got about an inch yesterday out this way as well..along with a crapload of marble sized hail..

I knew turning on my hayfield irrigation would make it rain..works everytime..

Got a cool and cloudy day with winds under 15.....better than it has been. Rain still getting farther away rather than closer.

Yep, that's the way it goes....sometimes wonder if it's like this just in my reality or if everyones sucks....

1982vett, I have came to the conclusion its just life.
I woke up this morning to the wood furnace blowing cold air. I had water dripping off the overhead coil.
I had to go to work so I cut the water supply off and turned the gas furnace on. Now I have something to look forward to when I get home.
It is an outside wood boiler with a big radiator looking thing up in the attic. I hope it is just a connection. It was supposed to have went under the house, but the installer screwed up and put it in the attic. I really don't like water lines in the attic.

By the way it was in the low 40's this morning and my wife was cold..

Every time I buy bagged concrete mix and leave it in the truck uncovered it will rain and I have a mess. I bought eight bags recently and unloaded them on wooden pallets, covered it with a vinyl tarp to keep it dry. My daughter cleans the pool and takes my tarp off the concrete mix to cover the pool. During the night it rained. Next morning my bags were all wet, go figure. So if it works here in Alabama, maybe it will work in Texas.
