Its dry and still cool here, nearing the end of winter. We have had temps down to minus 9c up to a top of 9c one day last week. Most days have been up around 17/18c which is very unusual for us for winter. No sign of any significant rain on the way. We usually don't get much rain in August / September.
Sick of the dry, just starting to feed out liquid supplement. Fed out about 100 round bales so far during winter as well as many tonnes of grain.
Our cattle are looking reasonable despite the cold and dry.
Have a great line of calves from our SDs by our polled sire purchased last year. Brahmans are about to start. Herefords and Black baldies are about finished calving.
