Hello: We have a remote water issue. We have a well on property with no electricity. We only have a lease on this property for one year. We need to get water to a trough for cattle. We've rebuilt a spring that is producing about 450 gallons per day and we have 500 gallons of storage set up. For the well, the storage tank on the property we had planned to use as water storage turns out to be like a 15 year old 4500 gallon fuel tank with a TINY bit of residue in it. We found a cleanser that will clean it up, we think. Because of the short lease, we'd really like to use this tank as opposed to buying a new one. Any help or ideas? Secondarily, we thought we had a 12v well pump chosen, but as it turns out, it's not going to work for us. Once again, time vs cost, we're having a real hard time justifying the purchase of a $600 - $1,000 pump! Not for one year. Does anyone have any ideas on this issue too? Thanks again!
