Washy Fall Pasture

We are getting a lot of rain and the blue grass is growing again, but clearly the cattle are not doing as well as they did this spring. I have been told that fall pasture is lower is carbs and will only provide a fraction of the gain per day that spring pasture will.

Do you have an data on spring vs. fall gain?

Will you share any suggestions on how to supplement or manage fall grass for young stock?
