So there was a minister, a priest, and a rabbi from the local Messianic synagogue were out in a boat fishing. The conversation centered around faith and whether Peter had faith because he got out of the boat or didn't because when he took his eyes off Jesus he sank.

The conversation was lively and the debate heated. Finally, the minister stood up and said "I don't know about you fellas but I have to use the restroom" and got out of the boat and started walking for the outhouse located on the bank. After a while he came back. When he came back the priest commented that he looked like a natural walking on the water, which led to a resumption of the earlier debate.

Shortly after the minister came back the priest stood up and announced that he too needed to use the restroom and prepared to walk to shore. As he stepped out of the boat he said to the minister, "I hope I make it all right. I haven't had a much practice at this as you have and if I go in I don't know how to swim." The minister replied, "Just have faith, put one foot in front of the other and for Pete's sake don't take your eyes off the outhouse" The priest started walking and made to shore and back without incident.

The rabbi being a bit cocky decided that he needed to make the same trip the other two had and that he had every bit as much faith as his two companions had and if they could walk on water then he could too. So, he stepped out of the boat and promptly sank like a stone. Redfaced and spluttering he started praying and asking God to forgive his arrogance and his lack of faith. When the rabbi had finished praying the priest looked at the minister and asked "Do you want to tell him or should I?" The minister said to the rabbi, "It's good to have faith but better to know where the stones are!"

Sorry... I trained to be a youth pastor and I heard a ton of these when I was in school.
