Wagyu Feeder Steer in MN

I've been searching the web trying to find a feeder steer. I'd like to buy one to "try". Figure feeding one out for the freezer is the first step. Will be raised in central MN on my brother in laws dairy/beef farm, but both of us are at a loss on where to find one. Can anyone point us in the right direction?

Buy a Charolais heifer and AI it. The fast growth of the Charolais will enhance the slow growth of the wagyu and you will have something worth the trouble and you can continue this each year.

Most of the waygu that I see is raised under contract so your chances of getting a single steer to raise are pretty slim.

This currently seems like my best bet if they are all raised under contract no?
