It is nice to see an operation be able to carry on for four generations, and to have so many of the kids from the latest generation involved in the farm. Lewis Farms is located in Spruce Grove, Alberta, which is just outside of Edmonton.

Diane Sawyer just did an expose last night on more hidden camera footage of atrocities in dairy barns and the cruelty existing in the cattle business. Wonder if this video will make its way to her . . .

Unfortunately, you're right usually only the awful stuff does make it on TV. What we need to do is share our messages with our urban friends. Email videos like this to our kids' teachers, our bankers, our city cousin. There was a lot of talk in San Antonio at NCBA this past week about how we need to stop talking to each other about how great agriculture is, I think we have all got that part figured out. It is the consumer that needs to hear it.
