Hi guys,
I'm in the market for my first set of scales. I used the search function here but I couldn't get a great impression on the overall recommendations. I did ascertain that the majority of you probably have your scale in the alley before the squeeze chute. That's helpful to know at least.
A couple weeks ago at the Louisville Farm Show it seemed everyone had their version. I liked the Cowco setup, but he was talking $1,700. ValleyVet has a livestock scale from Salter Brecknell called the PS2000. It's only $700. Has anyone used this scale or seen it around anywhere?
