vaccinations - FL

Never done vaccinations. Worm twice a year with pour on. Cattle look good through winter but have considered whether I should do some vacs on heifers I hold back. I understand its ideal to do all cattle but I am looking for a practical answer for FL cattle.

Hey Vic,

I can tell what I do on replacement heifers. Two doses of cattlemaster 5, staybred VL5, and ultrabac 7, two to four weeks apart then its just one shot a year at preg check time.

On second thought if the heifers are open, and you want to use a modified live vaccine bovishield gold is also an option.
