Vaccinating calves

Just curious when y’all vaccinate your calves or if you even do?

Spring and fall here, I try not to add any stress to the cows during the winter.

It is the ounce of prevention/pound of cure thing.

I calved year round so we inoculated often. Sometimes the booster was the initial for others.

Brand, vaccinate, and cut bulls all at the same time. Generally early May. Calves get a second round of shots in September several weeks before selling.

In May when they're appx 3 months and again at weaning.

I did my fall calves last week. They were 2 weeks to 2 1/2 month old. They also got an implant.
