I had a heifer calve Monday morning while I was at work.My sister-in-law found her and finally got the (dead)BREECH calf out.One of its back legs was bent up and its back was kinda swaybacked a little. When I got to her she had a uterine prolapse. So I got the Vet out and we got her put back in and stiched up.She was trying to get up but just couldn't stand. But I got a set of Hip lifts to use and I had to use them 3 times and now she is getting up on her own and doing good.I also saved a heifer last year with a set of lifts. In my opinion, not a bad idea to have a set of these in case of emergencies.

every farm needs a set of hipplifters.if you save just 1 cow by having them.then theyve paid for themselves.an besides being able to borrow a set is hard todo in some areas.
