USDA to continue announcing "inconclusive" BSE results
Despite another false alarm, the USDA says it will continue to inform the public when a cow tests "inconclusive" for Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy.
Last week, a cow that had tested inconclusive on initial screening tests was found free of the disease following confirmatory tests. It was the third false alarm since June.

I still say the only people who benefit from announcing false positives live in Chicago or New York and make their living in the trading pits.
