uploading photos

the photos i am trying to upload are 1.42mg . photo gallery says "1kb file limit"...when i try to upload photos i get a message "file too large"...is there a way to get around this? am i reading it right? i have uploaded photos in the distant past, but can't now....i send photos all the time by e-mail..

The only way I can post photo's here is to use photobucket.com. You have to create an account but it's free. You upload the photo's there and then it gives you a link to paste here, and then they display in your threads. It's not all that difficult, I even figured it out without my son....... :help:

I use a program called Easy Thumbnails from http://www.fookes.com to resize all my images. Makes uploading time faster, and it's a lot easier for people on slower connections to look at resized images. The program is free and it will resize large batches of photos or just one. Just rememeber to safe the resized photos to a new folder so you don't lose your original photos.

Then I use Photobucket to upload my photos to the internet (just like MO_cows said) and go from there.
