updated cattlemax

Has anyone purchased the new cattlemax updated program? I can not find a place to import my old herd files!!!!!!!! I have work to do.

i to still have the old version of cattlemax.not planning on updating it anytime soon.the practice herd still gets in my way when i have to update my records.last i heard the update to cattlemax was $300.

Check with the cattlemax people they were very helpful when i first bought he software.

Well I got the transfer of my files started last night and it says it is still working on it this morning. Right now I am wishing I had waited. I liked the old version. I will keep you all posted. Thanks. Double R

I'm still using version 2.4. Too cheap to upgrade. There are few things I wish it would do, but I'll put up with a little aggrevation for the dollar difference.

We're still using a previous edition of Longhorn Max. It WORKS...so WHY fix it???

It's like Bill Gates and Microsoft...keep "improving" operating systems...e.g., Windows XP being "replaced" with the problematic Vista. We're keeping XP...

I think a lot of so-called software "improvements" are rooted in $$$$ issues. Need to sell more...so, let's create a "new" version and get people to buy the "better" updated version. Same is true of vehicles, and other "new and improved" stuff.

Bottomline: If something you have works for you...then keep it ! "Let the neighbors keep up with the Joneses"...lol.

O.K. finally talked with Cattlesoft and they found that I needed to download the program again. I am impressed with the upgrades so far in playing with my record so far. If youall would like to know what I think of it and how it is running in the next few nights (have a lot of work to do) I would be happy to report.
