Update, Uncomfortable Heifer

Well, she isn't uncomfortable any longer. We pulled a teeny little bull calf this afternoon after she spent several hours messing around with no major results. He is probably only about 50#, definitely premature as his hair is short. But, he is alive, and at last check he was trying to get up. He will be spending some time in the barn, until he gets stronger. Her earliest due date would have been March 5. I will get a pic later tonight or tomorrow morning.
 
At least he's alive. I wish you the best of luck keeping him that way.

He is still alive this morning as well. He is looking good. He spent the night in the house to keep him warm, and because it is much nicer feeding him here than having to dress up and go out at 4:00 AM. He is much stronger this morning as well.
