Over the last couple weeks, the price of gas has been going up, and diesel has been going down. Been waiting for that for a long time! We still have some west coast refinery problems, and the "people that know" say that's why fuel prices are still substantially up from the rest of the country. Anyway, here today: Reg. gas = $4.059; diesel = $3.809.

Bought some off road for $3.55 earlier this week. Taxed was around $3.99.
When you say "off-road," I assume that means your pickup or diesel car? That is not a northwest term! :)
Its for use in vehicles used off-road like tractors. We call it farm diesel.

No "road tax" on "off-road" dyed red Diesel fuel. Road tax in Indiana is $0.40/gallon. Ag-exempt on the 7% state sales tax. $3.55 is not bad, considering what it has been.

OK. I was talking, "put it in your pickup or car." Those were our prices here today. We don't run a bunch of big diesel tractors, so don't deal with "off-road."

Diesel is $3.36 gas is 3.05 and dropping. B.O. Is doing such a great job ;-(
Wonder why that is? Diesel taking a huge drop here, with gas still higher ?? But that could go to the refinery problems ongoing on the west coast. Whatever -- might start driving the truck more.

Remember that each area has their own tax rate included. That's one reason fuel in Europe is so expensive.
What's the going price in South America?
