Update -- "In need of some advice"

Well, I finally got ahold of the woman who bought a heifer calf from me. After a few minutes discussing the heifers' possible entry in the Grand National Steeplechase, WE both came to the conclusion that it would be best if she was sent to auction. It was also agreed, that in spring when the new calves are here, she will be back for another calf OR we will find her one. I am thrilled things were agreed upon, and that she realized this wasn't going to be the best animal to start her herd with.

I want to thank everyone for their advice -- it's always nice to get a variety of opinions!
