We bought 14 pairs back in June from a small dispersal. Apparently it was a never pull the bull outfit. There are 11 left besides this one, looks like they will have to come home where we can watch them.
Already sent the vet his message and he is a little sheepish for missing as we tested only a month ago.
Starting to run short on winter rustle so started feeding a bit today. Will sort into winter groups this week sometime.

They are supposed to calve in spring. Preferably April. Glad it was warm a few days ago when it was born

Correct. We will be sorting cows into feeding groups later this week. That pair will come home to winter with shelter for the calf. The other cows from that group will come home to be watched closer too.

Preg checking is not an exact science, lucky it was a warm spell, this time of year it could easily have been a wolf/coyote popsicle.
