Understanding Sale Books?

I was wondering if someone could help me understand the sale books basiclly I know what BW= Birth Weight WW= Weaning Weight and yW= yearling Weight means but everything else im confused on. Could someone help me thanks ^^

I don't know exactly what you are looking for but I am presuming you are talking about the different EPD's listed. If you go to the following website and download the Rancher's Guide to EPD's and read through a few pages you will get to some good explanations of different EPD's. Hope this helps!

If you have specific abbreviations that your trying to decipher put it up on the board. It would be too hard for someone to list every code/abbreviation that sale catalogs have in them

I don't know if they still do, but several years ago the ABS Global catalog had a pretty thorough glossary of terms. I learned a lot from it. Boone
