This is a 4 1/2 year old Brangus cow, just calves yesterday with 3rd calf. As a heifer, she had the “pre-udder edema” along her midline, 2nd calf udder was good-sized, but this year she seems to have an over abundance. A)she’s probably done growing, so extra calories can go to milk production. B)tissues are pre-stretched. Is there any signs to watch for regarding udder structural integrity? Her heifer daughter had a good-sized udder for calving also. Calves won’t go hungry!
Last picture with calves is heifer daughter.

That udder doesn't look unacceptable to me. Swelling should go down after a few days. As long as the calf can do its thing, I wouldn't stress about it.

Wonder how much milk she is actually making?? Or if she's just post calving swelling.
May be enough for 2!
Up closer pictures-I totally expect the calf to start draining all 4 quarters by the next few days. Just curious how cows with heavier udders hold up over the years.

Calf needs to get busy!
The rear don't appear nursed. Hopefully they ain't plugged and the calf is actually getting milk. Does it have milky poo butt?

I've a couple that have large bags. Always have. They seem to be doing OK tho. I've actually sold sausage teats. The one I had to help last year. The issue wasn't her bag so much as those darn giant teats.

Maybe @Buck Randall or @farmerjan will drop by. I'm sure there's a few others be along shortly

Udder doesn't look too bad & neither do her teats. Calf should figure 'em out pretty soon. My girls with heavier udders have a lot of age on them and they're fine. It's the sausage teats that are worrisome, may have to help the calf latch on and end up as a cull able offense.

They'll hold up fine as long as the udder has a strong attachment to begin with ,and teats size .hers looks decent ...sounds like your worried a little to much..

I don't know how her bag will turn out long term but what I like to do is put a note in my spreadsheet that says "watch udder" or what ever will jog your memory. It's a reminder to watch how she progresses and to keep it in mind when picking heifers.
Having a camera on the phone is the best tool for comparisons-i found a pic from last year’s calf immediately after delivery. Definitely more volume this year. Calf is only nursing front two quarters at 2 days-peeing and colostrum poops so plumbing works. We’ll get her in an alley tomorrow and milk out the back quarters a bit , for relief and easier access if nothing else.
