I get delt a pair of 10's. The bid is moderate and I call. The flop comes 10 and J of hearts and 10 of clubs. I've got 4 of a kind. The guy across the table goes all in. Next guy calls and I call. First guy is all smiles with pocket jacks. Full house. He's boated. Next guy has king and queen of hearts and is setting on possible straight flush, flush draw. They both moan when I flop my tens.

6 of hearts on the turn. Makes the flush but that doesn't matter.

Frigging jack on the river!

What's the odds? What's the odds??

They tell me this is considered a bad beat and if it happens in a casino there is a big pot for it. Great. I'm not at a casino.

My streak of luck continues! Seems it is all bad. We were playing for small nickels so it aint no big thang other than pride.

I thought those 4-10's had it in the bag. Everybody in the dang building did too.
 
I gave up all hope of playing cards when I ran into a cowboy from nevada who could take any deck of cards and tell me what he was dealing me as he dealt em......

new deck ...same thing....

I shuffle and cut....same thing....

he said he could tell by the feel of the cards....and that where he was from everybody could do that....and that I best not try to gamble much....I haven't.....

I play a lot of poker I refuse to play Texas Holdem, Boogie in my opinion it's a fool's game. Sorry Buddy that's JMO.
I will play 5 card, 7 card stud or jacks or better all night long someone deal Texas Holdem I'm out.
If I don't have a hand on 4 cards in 7 stud or 3 in 5 stud I fold.

I'm just the fool for that job? :D

5 cards would have been perfect. Except the table was everyone's.
