I read that Andy Griffith died today-86 years old, some memorable TV shows I remember watching-Andy Griffith show, Matlock-one of the Great Tv icons for sure

I saw him on Matlock just a few minutes ago.
He was one of the great ones.

Barney used to be one of my all time favorites until I accidentally ran across his 'bloopers' on u tube.
He had a very filthy mouth, very vulgar, and I lost all respect for him.

Ryder, Don Knots did so much for the Disney as well as all, I believe the YouTube bloopers your referring too were bad voice overs by a bad amateur impersonator and tastless to boot. They just used scenes from the show and made the rest up.

I loved the Andy Griffith Show. My little boy watches reruns almost every night on DVD. I liked Andy right up until he did the infomercial for Obamacare and appeared in Ron Howards video A Call To Action where he endorsed Barak Obama and Joe Biden for president.

I couldn't care less what an entertainer's politics are. Their job is to entertain and Andy was one of the best as far as I'm concerned. I will miss him.

andy had some great shows on tv as well as movies.my fav show of his was 1 with him owning his own spece ship an went into space for space salvage.

What the Dixie Chicks said about President Bush a few years ago is another example, but I never was a big fan of theirs to begin with so boycotting them wasn't an issue. Another example is a few years ago when CVS Pharmacy withheld funding for the Boy Scouts because of their stance on gay scoutmasters. We have one in town but I haven't set foot in the place since.
On the other hand, sometimes people step over the line even when I agree with them in general. When I hear some of the hateful things people say about President Obama, I cringe. If they don't respect the man (I don't) thats one thing. But at least have a little respect for the office and the country.
I guess what I mean is when entertainers, or anyone else, spouts off about politics it usually doesn't bother me much. They have a right to their opinion, and just because I disagree with them doesn't automatically mean they're my enemy, and just because I agree with them doesn't automatically make them my friend. Only when they cross the line.
