I have some turtles I need removed from a pond. There are homes in every direction, so I thought a trap would be best.

I was thinking of a 5 gal bucket with some hole in the side and set inside of an inner-tube. Have a couple of ramps to allow them up and some kind of a trip gate to dump them in. Only use it for a short period of time, so would like to keep it simple.

Any idea, or pictures?

Personally I use turtle hook sets and catch a ton I put some fat meat on the hook or livers and toss in the pond and usually the next day I got a turtle on the line... I use thick salt water fishing line and turtle hooks. I eat them so if you are trying to save them that's not the way to do it.
