Let me preface this by saying I am not mechanically inclined

I bought a used tumblebug
Brakes locked as they should and it folded over as should
I go to used it and brakes lockup and grab the bale
I start to pull it over but the wheels roll, brakes arent strong enough to hold it

Brakes pads, magnets or what do I need to look for ?

do you have your brake connection hook to your parking lights ???

Yes
Lights off rolls free
Turn on lights it locks up
Had to block the tires to load and unload the bale
Checked again without a bale and it works

Brakes aren't strong enough to lock and hold when loaded

pull the hubs and look at the pads , They may be worn , They also may have a adjuster dial that you can tighten to get some more life out of the pads

Thanks
I may need to post pictures

I had a new hitch welded on and they said the brakes just needed to be adjusted.
Wish I'd of been there when they did it so I could have seen how they did it
